ALOK is an activist, comedian and actor who you may have seen on TV shows like The Sex Lives of College GirlsSort Of and Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness. In addition to acting, they're also an author and the subject of a short documentary that was executive produced by Jodie Foster. Now, ALOK has self-released their first stand-up comedy special, Biology. They joined guest host Saroja Coelho over the holidays to talk about the inspiration behind the special, which they wrote right after their grandfather's death, and how they use humour to mirror back some of culture's most painful moments.
